The Surfers of Tofino, Canada

Published by MJR on February 22nd, 2011 in Essay, Film, Photos | Comments Off
TOFINO, Vancouver Island, is an elemental place. Carpeted with dense rain forests and inhabited by grizzlies, the island sits slap-bang in the path of the Pacific Ring of Fire – a series of oceanic trenches and volcanic belts that terrorize coastlines around the Pacific Rim.
