Brandon, The lack of flash at night really adds an intensity to the story. The color edit works well…different temperatures somehow make me more curious. Do you have a “greatest hits” of raccoon hunting images?
Moose, whats the story? I know of Woodward as some kind of extreme sports school but is this a profile on a teacher there or something like that. The images are solid but they beg for more explanation.
Ying, I’m really feeling this set. Even without the poetic prelude there is a sense of fantasy within the images. With that said the addition of the poem really does set this apart from the rest in a good way. I am very excited to see more along these lines.
Matt, I’m definitely psyched for you to experiment more with the 6×7 frame. There is something about that format that commands a singular subject and since much of your 35mm work is framed around multiple components I can feel something surprising coming from your work with a new shape.
